Leganes target home joy to cap off historic campaign

Los Pepineros will be keen to sign off what's been an unforgettable season by treating the Butarque faithful to three points, however, they're sure to be given a stern examination by an Alaves side riding high in ninth.

Team News:
-CD Leganes: Jon Ander Serantes, Robert Ibañez and Omar (all injured); Unai Bustinza (suspended)
-D. Alaves: Einar Galilea, Victor Laguardia and Sergio Llamas (all injured); Alexis (suspended)
Match Facts:
Leganes (16th, 34 pts):
- The Madrilenians will be desperate to end the season in style by securing three points in front of their own fans. Should Asier Garitano's troops emerge victorious here it would represent the first time that the league newcomers have recorded three straight top-flight victories on their own patch.
- Alex Szymanowski comes into the game in scintillating form. Besides having notched his side's goal last time out in the 1-1 stalemate against Athletic Club, the Argentine tops the Leganes scoring charts in LaLiga Santander fixtures played at Butarque, where he has found the net on five occasions.
Alaves (9th, 54 pts):
- Should the Basques get anything out of this one, it would see them register their second-best points tally in the top tier (which currently lies at 54), outdone only by the 61 points they amassed in the 1999/2000 campaign.
- The Vitoria-based outfit are riding a six-game unbeaten streak in LaLiga Santander (W4 D2), which is their best such sequence since April 2001, when they went nine games undefeated in what remains the club's all-time best run of results in the top flight.
